Gulf Payments Company Holds the Second Meeting of the GCC “AFAQ” Bank Advisory Forum

On Tuesday, March 5, 2024, the second “AFAQ” Bank Advisory Forum (ABAF) meeting was held at the headquarters of Emirates NBD Bank, in the presence of representatives from commercial banking sectors in the GCC region. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Ali Alhomidan, the CEO of Gulf Payments Company.

The meeting addressed several topics related to enhancing the use of the “AFAQ” system and developing its services. This included reviewing plans to onboard additional Gulf commercial banks, expanding the system’s user base, activating marketing programs to raise awareness about “AFAQ” and its benefits, as well as discussing updates on the committee’s implementation of its current-year action plan.
