Gulf Payments Company Holds the First Meeting of the GCC “AFAQ” Bank Advisory Forum

On Tuesday, November 21, 2023, the Gulf Payments Company held its first AFAQ Bank Advisory Forum (ABAF) meeting, at the company’s headquarters. The committee consists of representatives from commercial banks and financial institutions in the GCC region. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Ali Alhomidan, the CEO of Gulf Payments Company.

The meeting discussed several topics related to the “AFAQ” payments system. Discussions included challenges, available opportunities, and leveraging successful experiences for the development and marketing of “AFAQ” services. This includes providing financial transfer services to customers across all categories through the websites of banks and financial institutions, as well as social media platforms.

The committee also discussed its work methodology and the programs scheduled for the year 2024. It was agreed to hold the second meeting in the first quarter of 2024.
