Seminar to introduce the services of the Gulf Payments Company and an overview of the RTGS systems

The Gulf Payments Company held a seminar in Sultanate Oman to introduce the Gulf Payments Company and the RTGS systems in the GCC region, for five hours in the presence of more than 300 participants representing GCC Central Banks, commercial banks, and financial institutions.
The seminar commenced with an introduction of the Gulf Payments Company and touched on the following topics:
– Drivers and challenges in the GCC region for cross-border integration of payment systems.
– An overview of the Gulf Payments Company
The seminar also discussed in its contents the RTGS system in the Gulf region. The presentation included:
– Overview of RTGS systems
– The advantages offered by the RTGS system to central banks, commercial banks, and individuals.
– Cybersecurity and information technology services.
