Mr. Saif Humaid Al Dhaheri

Mr. Saif Al Dhaheri is the Assistant Governor – Banking Operations & Support Services at the Central Bank of the UAE (CBUAE). Additionally, he holds the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Etihad Payments, Oumolat Security Printing LLC and O & S Security Solutions LLC. He also serves the role of Vice Chairman of the Emirates Institute of Finance and is a member of:

– M2 Committee (UAE Capital of the Global Financial System)
– The Digital Economy Council & Chair of the Fintech Committee (Sub committee of the digital economy).
– Cashless Society Committee.
– Central Bank Digital Currency Working Group by the World Economic Forum (WEF).
– Board member at Gulf Payments Company.

Mr. Saif Al Dhaheri joined the CBUAE from Mubadala Investment Company where he acted as the Senior Advisor to the Deputy CEO of Chief Human & Corporate Services within the Special Projects Division. Within this capacity, he was responsible for establishing and overseeing Mubadala’s Train For Work Programme. Previously, he held the position of Executive Vice President in Human Capital & Facility overseeing critical functions including Human Capital, Organisation, Excellence, Customer Care and Service Quality.

Prior to Joining Mubadala, Mr. Saif Al Dhaheri was the Chief Operating Officer of Al Hilal Bank with a mandate to drive strategic objectives for Information Technology, the Project Management Office, Business Continuity, Operations, Internal Control, Facility Management, Real Estate and Procurement. Prior to this, he held various positions at Takreer covering a broad range of responsibilities.

Mr. Saif Al Dhaheri holds an Executive Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Zayed University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from California State University, Fresno.
